tvN has extended currently airing drama series “Another Miss Oh” starring Eric and Seo Hyun-Jin from 16 episodes to 18 episodes. According to tvN, the production team and cast discussed extending the drama series as they felt 16 episodes was not enough to tell its story.

First script reading for upcoming SBS drama series “Wanted” starring Kim A-Joong & Uhm Tae-Woong took place May 21, 2016 at SBS Ilsan Production Studios in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. First script reading had Kim A-Joong, Uhm Tae-Woong, Ji Hyun-Woo, Park Hae-Joon, Park Hyo-Joo and other main cast members in attendance.

Actress Kim Ha-Neul has been offered a lead female role in upcoming KBS2 drama series “On the Way to the Airport” (literal title). Actor Lee Sang-Yoon has already received an offered to play a lead male role and he is still considering the offer positively. Kim Ha-Neul is currently “positively considering” her offer.
If Kim Ha-Neul accepts, she will play Choi Soo-A. Her character is an assistant purser for an airline. She has been working there for 12 years. She is also married to an airplane pilot.
“On the Way to the Airport” will first air September, 2016 in South Korea (will take over KBS2’s Wednesday & Thursday 10PM time slot after “Uncontrollably Fond“).
Actress Kim Hee-Ae is cast in upcoming SBS drama series “Second To Last Love” co-starring Ji Jin-Hee. Also cast in supporting roles are Kim Seul-Gi and Lee Soo-Min. Yoon Doo-Joon from idol group ‘B2ST’ has also been offered a major supporting character role and he is considering the offer positively.
In the drama series, Kim Hee-Ae will play Kang Min-Joo. Her character is a 40ish single woman and works as PD at a broadcasting station. Kim Seul-Gi will play Ko Mi-Ryeo. Her character is the younger sister of Ko Sang-Sik (Ji Jin-Hee) and works as a webtoon writer. Lee Soo-Min will play Ko Ye-Ji. She is the daughter of Ko Sang-Sik.
“Second To Last Love” will first air this July in South Korea.

Jin Young (‘B1A4’) has been offered a major supporting role in upcoming KBS2 drama “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” starring Park Bo-Gum & Kim You-Jung. Jin Young is currently “positively considering” the offer.
If Jin Young accepts, he will play Kim Yoon-Sung. His character falls into a love triangle with Crown Prince Hyomyeong (Park Bo-Gum) and Hong Ra-On (Kim You-Jung).
Yook Sung-Jae from idol group ‘BTOB’ was first offered the role of Kim Yoon-Sung, but he declined due to scheduling conflicts.

First script reading for upcoming MBC drama series “W,” starring Lee Jong-Suk & Han Hyo-Joo, took place early this month at MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea. At the first script reading Lee Jong-Suk, Han Hyo-Joo, Jeong Eu-Gene, Lee Tae-Hwan and other main cast members attended. In the drama series, Lee Jong-Suk plays Kang Chul. His character is an Olympic gold medalist in shooting sports and he now runs a company. He is cold-blooded, but smart. Meanwhile, Han Hyo-Joo plays Oh Yeon-Joo. Her character is a second year resident of thoracic surgery. She is bright and has warm heart.

Actress Ku Hye-Sun officially registered her marriage to actor Ahn Jae-Hyeon at the Gangnam district office today, May 20, 2106. She registered their marriage by herself, due to Ahn Jae-Hyeon filming for upcoming drama series “Cinderella and Four Knights.” Tomorrow, May 21, 2016, the couple will have a meal with their parents and family members to celebrate their marriage. The couple will skip a traditional wedding ceremony and donate the money they were supposed to spend on their wedding ceremony to a hospital pediatrics ward. They first met while working together in 2015 KBS2 drama series “Blood.”
Drama series “My Sassy Girl,” starring Joo Won, has now been picked up by SBS and will air in early 2017. In addition, the series will be directed by Oh Jin-Seok who worked with Joo Won in 2015 SBS drama series “Yong-Pal.” Casting for the lead actress will take place through open auditions. The drama series is a remake of 2001 movie “My Sassy Girl,” but set in the Joseon period.
