Here’s the first still images of Namgung Min in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Chief Kim” co-starring Nam Sang-Mi. The still images are from Namgun Min’s first day of filming for the drama series. The scene was filmed on December 11, 2016 in Paju, South Korea. In the drama series, Namgun Min plays Kim Sung-Ryong. He used to be an accountant for a criminal gang, but he somehow lands a job as a chief in the accounting department for a legitimate company. The company though is struggling financially. He tries to save the company.

Ko So-Young, Yoon Sang-Hyun and Cho Yeo-Jeong are all cast in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Perfect Wife.” Ko So-Young will play the lead female character, while Yoon Sang-Hyun and Cho Yeo-Jeong will play major supporting characters. Meanwhile, actor Lee Sang-Yeob has been offered the lead male character role and he is currently “positively considering” the offer.
For drama series “Perfect Wife,” Ko So-Young will play Sim Jae-Bok. She is married and has two children. Sim Jae-Bok has a tough personality, because she went through a lot of hardships. She becomes involved in an unexpected case and begins to regain her true self.
Yoon Sang-Hyun will play Koo Jung-Hee. He is the husband of Sim Jae-Bok. He works as the manager in the sales department of a construction material company. He is timid, but has affairs with other women.
Cho Yeo-Jeong will play an as of yet unrevealed character. Her character is important to the story.
The lead male character will be attorney Kang Bong-Goo (which has been offered to Lee Sang-Yeob). He dreams of gaining status and power through marriage.

Upcoming SBS drama series “My Sassy Girl,” starring Joo Won & Oh Yeon-Seo, is now set to air May, 2017 in South Korea. The drama series will aor on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10PM after the conclusion of drama series “Whisper.” “My Sassy Girl” is a remake of popular 2001 romantic-comedy film “My Sassy Girl,” but set during the Kingdom of Joseon period.
Actress Kim So-Yeon has dropped out of upcoming KBS2 drama series “Father is Strange” starring Lee Joon & Jung So-Min. Kim So-Yeon was first cast to play older sister Hye-Young, but has decided to drop out of the drama series for personal reasons. She did have discussions with the staff and made the decision to drop out of the series. The first script reading has been rescheduled from January 2, 2017 to January 8, 2017.
Ryu Hwa-Young (ex ‘T-rara’ member) is still considering an offer to play the youngest sister and veteran actress Kim Hae-Sook is still considering an offer to play a major supporting character. Meanwhile, actor Ryu Soo-Young has been offered a role in the drama series and he is currently considering. If Ryu Soo-Young accepts, he will will play Cha Jung-Hwan. His character is the PD of a broadcasting station.

In the upcoming 3 episode drama series, Suho plays Woo-Joo. He is an excellent, but arrogant singer-songwriter. Meanwhile, Ji-Woo plays Byul. She is an angel of death and a fan of Woo-Joo. She died when she was a high school student.
First script reading for upcoming JTBC drama series “Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon” took place October 29, 2016 at JTBC building in Sangam, Seoul, South Korea. The first script reading featured main cast members Park Bo-Young, Park Hyung-Sik (‘ZE:A’) and Ji Soo. Filming for the drama series then began in November, 2016.
The drama series has Park Bo-Young playing Do Bong-Soon. She is a charming young woman … with incredible strength. Park Hyung-Sik plays An Min-Hyuk. He is the CEO of a game company with picky, but cute personality. Ji Soo plays In Kook-Doo. He is a rookie detective and holds an unrequited love for Do Bong-Soon.

Hyun-Bin has been offered the lead role in new drama series “City of Stars” (literal title). Currently, Hyun-Bin is positively considering the offer. The drama series is the first directed by long-time movie director Jang Jin.
Premise for the drama series follows two men who are selected for an astronaut training program. They then become in an international chase for a chemical needed to fuel an alternative energy source. Filming for “City of Stars” begins May, 2016. Exact network to air the drama series has not yet been decided.
