Shin Min-A and Lee Min-Ki offered lead roles in tvN drama series “Tomorrow With You”

Shin Min-A and Lee Min-Ki have been offered the lead roles in upcoming tvN drama series “Tomorrow With You” (literal title). Both of the performers are currently “positively considering” the offers. For actor Lee Min-Ki, if he accepts the role, this will be his first acting performance since being discharged from the military on August 3, 2016. Story for the drama series follows a time traveler and his wife.

Character teasers for MBC drama series “W”

Character teaser trailers added for upcoming MBC drama series “W” starring Lee Jong-Suk & Han Hyo-Joo. The two character teasers feature main characters Kang Chul (Lee Jong-Suk) and Oh Yeon-Joo (Han Hyo-Joo). Fans will be torn in July as “W” will go up against KBS2 drama series “Uncontrollably Fond” starring Kim Woo-Bin and Bae Suzy.

“W” will first air July 20, 2016 in South Korea.

Ji Chang-Wook offered lead role in drama series “K2”

Actor Ji Chang-Wook has been offered the lead role in upcoming drama series “K2.” If Ji Chang-Wook accepts the offer, he will play the main character who is a bodyguard. The bodyguard is abandoned by his country and colleagues. tvN is in discussions to air the drama series later this year, possibly from September in South Korea. The drama series will be directed by Kwak Jung-Hwan (“The Fugitive: Plan B“) and scripted by Jang Hyeok-Rin (“Yong-Pal“).

2 main posters and teaser trailer #3 for SBS drama series “Doctors”

2 main posters and teaser trailer #3 added for upcoming SBS drama series “Doctors” starring Kim Rae-Won and Park Shin-Hye. Interesting enough, the early working title for the drama series translated into English was “Female Gangster, Hye-Jung,” but became “Doctors.” The early working title was in reference to Park Shin-Hye’s character of Hye-Jung. In her high school days, Hye-Jung was known to get into fights and her fighting prowess, but she put all that behind her to become a doctor.

“Doctors” will first air June 20, 2016 in South Korea.

Starring cast members announced for JTBC drama series “Age of Youth”

Han Ye-Ri, Han Seung-Yeon (ex-‘Kara’ member), Park Eun-Bin, Hwa Young (ex-‘T-ara’ member) and Park Hye-Soo are all cast in new JTBC drama series “Age of Youth” (literal title). For the drama series, they will play university students who share a house together.

“Age of Youth” will first air this July in South Korea (takes over JTBC’s Friday and Saturday 8:30 PM time slot after “Mirror of the Witch.”).
