Trailer and poster added for upcoming movie “Kashin” starring Eri MurakawaKento HayashiMasanobu Ando. Movie is based on 1958 novel “Kashin” by Jakucho Setouchi and directed by Hiroshi Ando. Story for the movie follows a wife (Eri Murakawa) who entered into a loveless arranged marriage. She meets a man played by Masanobu Ando and falls in love for the first time.

“Kashin” will be released August 6, 2016 in Japan.

Satoshi Tsumabuki & Kiko Mizuhara cast in live-action film “A Boy Who Wished to be Okuda Tamio And A Girl Who Drove All Men Crazy”

Satoshi Tsumabuki & Kiko Mizuhara are cast in live-action film “A Boy Who Wished to be Okuda Tamio And A Girl Who Drove All Men Crazy” (literal title). Also cast in supporting roles are Suzuki MatsuoHirofumi AraiSakura AndoLily Franky. Movie is based on manga series “Okuda Tamio ni Naritai Boy Deau Otoko Subete Kuruwaseru Girl” by Chokkaku Shibuya and directed byHitoshi One (“Bakuman“).

Story for “A Boy Who Wished to be Okuda Tamio And A Girl Who Drove All Men Crazy” has Satoshi Tsumabuki playing 35-years-old Yuji Koroki. He gets transferred to the editing division at a magazine. There, he falls in love with Akari Amami played by Kiko Mizuhara, but a hell like experience is about to begin.

“A Boy Who Wished to be Okuda Tamio And A Girl Who Drove All Men Crazy” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Trailer for movie “Ken and Kazu”

Trailer for upcoming movie “Ken and Kazu” starring Shinsuke KatoKatsuya Maiguma. Movie had its world premiere at last year’s Tokyo International Film Festival and won the “Best Picture Award” in the Japanese Cinema Splash section at the film festival. Story for the film follows two young men who begin selling drugs out of an auto repair shop. They soon cross paths with the yakuza.

“Ken and Kazu” will be released July 30, 2016 in Japan.

Teaser trailer and poster for movie “Higanjima: Vampire Island”

Teaser trailer and poster added for live-action sequel film “Higanjima: Vampire Island” starring Shunya ShiraishiRyohei Suzuki. Movie is based on manga series”Higanjima” by Koji Matsumoto and directed by Takeshi Watanabe (“Neko Zamurai“).

Story for the film follows 2012 TBS drama series “Higanjima” and has Akira Miyamoto (Shunya Shiraishi) going back to vampire infested island Higanjima with friends. There, Akira Miyamoto goes up against his older brother Atsushi Miyamoto (Shunya Suzuki) who is now a vampire.

“Higanjima: Vampire Island” will be released October 15, 2016 in Japan.

Trailer for movie “Hee”

Trailer added for movie “Hee” starring Kaori Momoi. Movie is also directed by Kaori Momoi and based on the short story of same name by Fuminori Nakamura. Story for the film has Kaori Momoi playing a Japanese woman who now lives in Los Angeles. She works as a prostitute and has lived through a horrific past. A psychiatrist she had in the past meets her again in an unexpected circumstance.

“Hee” had its world premiere in the Forum section at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year and will have its general release this August in Japan.

Teaser trailer and poster added for upcoming movie “Somebody” (“Nanimono”) starring Takeru Satoh, Masaki SudaKasumi Arimura, Fumi Nikaido, Masaki Okada & Takayuki Yamada. The film is based on novel “Nanimono” by Ryo Asai (“The Kirishima Thing“) and directed by Daisuke Miura (“Love’s Whirlpool“). Premise for the film follows 5 college students as they seek out jobs.

Kazuya Kamenashi & Tao Tsuchiya cast in live-action film “P and JK”

Kazuya Kamenashi (‘KAT-TUN’)  & Tao Tsuchiya are cast in live-action film “P and JK.” This is the first time the two will perform together. The film is based on manga series “P to JK” by Maki Miyoshi and directed by Ryuichi Hiroki (“Strobe Edge“).

In movie “P and JK,” Tao Tsuchiya plays high school student Kako Motoya. She pretends to be a college student and goes on a group date. There she meets Kota Sagano played by Kazuya Kamenashi. The two become attracted to each other, but Kota Sagano is a police officer and he learns that Kako Motoya is a high school student.

Filming for “P and JK” takes place from June – July, 2016 and the movie will be released sometime during spring, 2017 in Japan.
