Ryoko Shinohara and Suzu Hirose are cast for the lead roles in movie “Sunny: Tsuyoi Kimochi Tsuyoi Ai.” The film is a remake 2011 South Korean film “Sunny” which stars Yoo Ho-Jeong and Shim Eun-Kyung in the respective lead roles. For the upcoming film, Ryoko Shinohara will play the present day version of main character Nami and Suzu Hirose will play Nami in her high school days. Also cast in the film are Yoko Maki, Eiko Koike, Rie Tomosaka and Naomi Watanabe. Hitoshi One will direct the remake film.
Filming for “Sunny: Tsuyoi Kimochi Tsuyoi Ai” is expected to finish late November, 2017 and the movie will be released sometime next year in Japan. Somebody que up “Time After Time.”
Trailer added for movie “Tantei Wa Bar Ni Iru 3” starring Yo Oizumi and Ryuhei Matsuda. For the third film in the “Tantei Wa Bar ni Iru” series, Detective (Yo Oizumi) and Takada (Ryuhei Matsuda) are tasked with finding a missing college student played by (Atsuko Maeda). Their search takes them to the red light district in Sapporo.
“Tantei Wa Bar Ni Iru 3” will be released December 1, 2018.
Teaser trailer added for movie “Ice Cream and the Sound of Raindrops” starring Kokoro Morita and Taketo Tanaka. Movie is written and directed by Daigo Matsui. The film follows six kids selected to perform in a play, but the play is cancelled. The kids decide to continue anyways.

Story for the film follows three woman whose lives are affected in someway by the adult video industry. It was just announced today that the film will have its world premiere in the competition section at this year’s Tokyo International Film Festival (October 25 – November 3, 2017).

Movie is based on manga “Kamakura Monogatari” by Ryohei Saigan and directed by Takashi Yamazaki. Takashi Yamazaki previously adapted Ryohei Saigan’s manga “San-chome no Yuhi” into box-office hits “Always: Sunset on Third Street,” “Always: Sunset on Third Street 2” and “Always: Sunset on Third Street 3.”
Additionally, the theme song for the film has been announced, which is “Anata” (literally “You’) by Hikaru Utada. The theme song is featured in trailer #2.

Tsurugi Watanabe is cast in new live-action film “Hana wa Saku ka.” The live-action film is based on manga “Hana wa Saku ka” by Shoko Hidaka. Story for the film follows the romance between a 37-year-old male advertising exec and and a 19-year-old male art student.
Appropriately enough, with the literal title of film “Does the Flower Bloom?,” movie “Hana wa Saku ka” will be released sometime during spring, 2018 in Japan.
