Teaser trailer and poster added for upcoming movie “The Travelling Cat Chronicles” (English title) starring Sota Fukushi. Movie is based on novel “Tabineko Ripoto” by Hiro Arikawa and directed by Koichiro Miki. Story for the film follows a young man (Sota Fukushi) who goes on the road with his cat to find it a new home. In addition, Mitsuki Takahata is to voice the cat named Nana.

“The Travelling Cat Chronicles” will be released October 26, 2018 in Japan.

Main trailer for added for live-action film “Rainbow Days” starring Reo SanoTaishi NakagawaMahiro Takasugi and Ryusei Yokohama. Movie is based on manga “Nijiiro Deizu” by Minami Mizuno. The trailer also reveals the movie’s ending theme song which is “Wanderlust” by Kenji Furuya. Story for “Rainbow Days” follows the friendship and love lives of 4 male high school students.

Teaser trailer for live-action film “3D Kanojo: Real Girl” starring Ayami Nakajo and Hayato Sano. Movie is based on manga “3D Kanojo Riaru Garu” by Mao Nanami and directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa. Story for “3D Kanojo: Real Girl” follows a loner type of high school student (Hayato Sano) and a beautiful high school student (Ayami Nakajo).

Taiga and Yo Yoshida cast in movie “Hahasan ga Donna ni Boku wo Kirai demo”

Taiga and Yo Yoshida are cast in movie “Hahasan ga Donna ni Boku wo Kirai demo.” Also cast in supporting roles are Win Morisaki (‘PrizmaX’), Shunya Shiraishi, Mika Akizuki, Yoichiro Saito, Hana Kino and Harutomo Koyama. The film is based on an autobiographical comic by Taiji Utagawa and directed by Osamu Minorikawa. For the movie, Taiga and Yo Yoshida will play son and mother, but they have a broken relationship. They haven’t spoken in years, but the son attempts to reconnect with his mother.

Yuta Tamamori, Riho Yoshioka and Shota Sometani cast in movie “Parallel World Love Story”

Yuta Tamamori (‘Kis-My-Ft2’), Riho Yoshioka and Shota Sometani are cast in movie “Parallel World Love Story.” The film is based on Keigo Higashino‘s 1995 novel of the same name and Yoshitaka Mori will direct the film.

For movie “Parallel World Love Story,” Yuta Tamamori and Riho Yoshioka will play lead characters Takashi Tsurug and Mayuko Tsuno. Shota Sometani will play major supporting character Tomohiko Miwa. The film will center around these three characters as they seem to exist in parallel worlds.

“Parallel World Love Story” will be released sometime next year in Japan via Shochiku.

Haruma Miura cast in movie “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik”

Haruma Miura is cast in movie “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.” The film is based on the short story collection “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” by Kotaro Isaka. Some of Kotaro Isaka’s novels that have been adapted into feature films include “Golden Slumber,” “Fish Story” and “Sweet Rain.” Movie will be directed by Rikiya Imaizumi.

Story for “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” follows various people as they experience connections and missed connections with others. For the movie, Haruma Miura will play central character Sato. A woman in a black suit answers a questionnaire handed out by Sato and Sato sees something on her hand that makes him wonder if she might be part of his fate.

Filming for “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” will begin April, 2018 and the movie will be released sometime this winter in Japan.

Trailer added for upcoming movie “Life in Overtime” starring Hiroshi Tachi, Hitomi Kuroki and Ryoko Hirosue. Movie is based on novel “Owatta Hito” by Makiko Uchidate. The film revolves around Sosuke Tashiro (Hiroshi Tachi) as he prepares for live after retirement. He is married to Chigusa Tashiro (Hitomi Kuroki), but he meets a younger woman (Ryoko Hirosue). The film is directed by Hideo Nakata, better known for his horror films like “Ring.”

“Life in Overtime” will be released June 9, 2018 in Japan.
