Poster and main trailer added for live-action film “Marmalade Boy” starring Hinako Sakurai and Ryo Yoshizawa. The film is based on manga “Marmalade Boy” by Wataru Yoshizumi and directed by Ryuichi Hiroki. In addition, a second wave of supporting actors have been announced for the film which include Kisetsu Fujiwara, Yasufumi Terawaki, Nina Endo and Terunosuke Takezai.

Teaser trailer #2 added for live-action film “Bleach” starring Sota Fukushi and Hana Sugisaki. Movie is based on popular manga “BLEACH” by Tite Kubo and directed by Shinsuke Sato (“Gantz“). Teaser trailer #2 features a fight scene between Kurosaki (Sota Fukushi) and a human spirit eating creature Hollow.

Trailer for Japanese-Korean film “Butterfly Sleep” starring Miho Nakayama and Kim Jae-Wook. Movie is written and directed by Jeong Jae-Eun (“Take Care of My Cat“). The film revolves around 54-year-old novelist Ryoko Matsumura (Miho Nakayama) and twenty something year old Chan-Hae (Kim Jae-Wook). Chan-Hae is from South Korea and he helps Ryoko Matsumura write her latest novel. During their time together they fall in love, but Ryoko Matsumura has Alzheimer’s.
“Butterfly Sleep” had its world premiere in October, 2017 at the Busan International Film Festival and will be released May 12, 2018 in Japan.
Teaser trailer for upcoming movie “Over Drive” starring Masahiro Higashide and Mackenyu Arata. The film has Masahiro Higashide and Mackenyu Arata playing bickering brothers involved in the rally car racing world. Mackenyu Arata plays younger brother Naozumi Hiyama (he’s the hot headed, but talented race car driver) and Masahiro Higashide plays older brother Atsuhiro Hiyama (he works as the mechanic for the race car team).

Ai Hashimoto, Mugi Kadowaki and Ryo Narita are cast in movie “It’s Boring Here, Pick Me Up” (literal title). The film is based on 2012 novel “Koko wa Taikutsu Mukae ni Kite” by Mariko Yamauchi. Mariko Yamauchi also wrote the 2013 novel “Azumi Haruko wa Yukuefumei” which was adapted into movie “Japanese Girls Never Die.” In the “It’s Boring Here, Pick Me Up,” Ai Hashimoto will play lead character I. She returns to her hometown after spending 10 years in Tokyo. She still likes Shiina-kun (Ryo Narita) from her high school days. Mugi Kadowaki also plays a girl with the name I. Her ex-boyfriend is Shiina-kun and she still likes him as well. Movie is directed by Ryuichi Hiroki.
Filming for “It’s Boring Here, Pick Me Up” took place from June to July, 2017 and the film will be released this autumn in Japan.

Movie is the third film in Yoji Yamada’s “What A Wonderful Family!” series which revolves around the Hirata family and its daily life problems. In “What A Wonderful Family! 3: My Wife, My Life,” housewife Fumie Hirata (Yui Natsukawa) becomes fed up with her insensitive husband Konosuke Hirata (Masahiko Nishimura) and leaves their home. The Hirata home goes into chaos without Fumie.
