Takeru Satoh cast in movie “Million Dollar Man”

Takeru Satoh is cast for the lead role in movie “Million Dollar Man.” Also cast in supporting roles are Issei Takahashi, Tatsuya Fujiwara, Kazuki Kitamura, Erika Sawajiri and Elaiza Ikeda. The film is based on movie producer Genki Kawamura second published novel “Oku Otoko.” His first novel “Sekai kara Neko ga Kieta nara” was adapted into 2016 movie “If Cats Disappeared From the World” which also starred Takeru Satoh. Story for “Million Dollar Man” follows a young man (Takeru Satoh) desperate for money and he wins the lottery, but his friend (Issei Takahashi) then steals his money. Movie is directed by Keishi Ohtomo (“Rurouni Kenshin“).

“Million Dollar Man” will be released October 19, 2018 in Japan.

Character posters and supporting cast for movie “Gyoza You Can Kiss”

Here’s two character posters for upcoming movie “Gyoza You Can Kiss” (“Kisu Dekiru Gyoza”). The character posters are of main characters Yoko Fujita (Rika Adachi) and Ryo Iwahara (Yukihisa Tamura from ‘Boys and Men’). The film follows a young woman as she attempts to revive her family’s gyoza restaurant.  Also newly announced supporting actors are Hinako Sano, Hiroki Nakajima, Rin Furukawa, Goro Oishi, Yuhi (‘Boys and Men’), Kazuyuki Asano and Yumi Asou.

Release date for “Gyoza You Can Kiss” is now set for June 22, 2018 in Japan.

Main trailer and poster for movie “Even: Kimi ni Okuru Uta” starring Dori Sakurada. Screenplay is by Erika Yoshida. Story for “Even: Kimi ni Okuru Uta” has popular singer Rin (Jin Shirasu) waking up at the hospital in the body of unpopular indie singer Takehito (Dori Sakurada). They were together when a car crashed into them at night. Now, Rin in the body of Takehito performs with Takehito’s band “Even” and writes a song to his estranged girlfriend Mami (Maya Okano).

“Even: Kimi ni Okuru Uta” will be released June 2, 2018 in Japan.

Main trailer for movie “Walking with My Grandma” starring Ayane Nagabuchi and Mitsuko Kusabue. Movie is directed by Tetsuo Shinohara. Natsumi (Ayane Nagabuchi) will get married soon, but her grandmother Kiyo (Mitsuko Kusabue) injures her leg and stays at the hospital. They make a promise to each other that the grandmother will walk with her granddaughter on her wedding day.

Teaser trailer and poster for movie “Code Blue”

Teaser trailer and teaser poster added for upcoming movie “Code Blue” starring Tomohisa Yamashita,Yui Aragaki, Erika Toda, Manami Higa and Yosuke Asari. The teaser trailer reveals large scale disasters that take place at Narita Airport and the Umihotaru parking area by Trans-Tokyo Bay Expressway. The movie is a sequel to the Fuji TV drama series “Code Blue.” In addition, Kippei Shiina from “Code Blue Season 2” & “Code Blue Season 3” and Daiki Arioka (‘Hey! Say! JUMP’), Ryo Narita, Yuko Araki and Fumika Baba who all appeared in “Code Blue Season 3” will reprise their supporting roles in the movie version.

Trailer for movie “Recall”

Trailer for movie “Recall” starring Tomoya Nagase,  Dean Fujioka and Issei Takahashi. Movie is based on 2006 novel “Soratobu Taiya” by Jun Ikeido and was previously adapted into 2009 WOWOW drama series “The Flying Tire.” The film follows a transport truck company who experiences a tire that falls off its truck and causes a fatal accident. The owner (Tomoya Nagase) of the company investigates and believes the accident was caused by a manufacturing defect. Movie is directed by Katsuhide Motoki.

“Recall” will be released June 15, 2018 in Japan.

Trailer added for movie “Liverleaf” starring Anna Yamada and Hiroya Shimizu. Movie is based on manga “Misumisou” by Rensuke Oshikiri and directed by Eisuke Naito (“Let’s Make the Teacher Have a Miscarriage Club“). The film deals with bullying and follows a high school student who moves to a small rural town and becomes the target of bullies. Her house then burns down killing her parents. The girl sets out for revenge.

Poster and main trailer added for live-action film “Marmalade Boy” starring Hinako Sakurai and Ryo Yoshizawa. The film is based on manga “Marmalade Boy” by Wataru Yoshizumi and directed by Ryuichi Hiroki. In addition, a second wave of supporting actors have been announced for the film which include Kisetsu FujiwaraYasufumi TerawakiNina Endo and Terunosuke Takezai.
