Masahiro Higashide & Erika Karata cast in movie “Netemosametemo.” The film is based on 2010 novel “Netemosametemo” by Tomoka Shibasaki and directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi. Premise for the film has Masahiro Higashide playing two different characters: Baku and Ryohei. Baku is a mysterious man with a free spirit, while Ryohei is a salaryman with a sincere personality. Erika Karata plays Asako. She falls in love with Baku, but he suddenly disappears. Two years later, she meets Ryohei who looks just like Baku, but he has a completely different personality.

“Netemosametemo” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Ayami Nakajo & Hayato Sano cast in live-action film “3D Kanojo: Real Girl”

Ayami Nakajo and Hayato Sano (‘M!LK’) are cast in live-action film “3D Kanojo: Real Girl.” The movie is based no manga “3D Kanojo Riaru Garu” by Mao Nanami and will be directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa. In the upcoming live-action film, Hayato Sano will play high school otaku Hikaru Tsutsui. He feels like an outcast at school, but beautiful high school student Iroha Ikarashi (Ayami Nakajo) tells him that she likes him.

“3D Kanojo: Real Girl” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Trailer for live-action film “Destiny Kamakura Monogatari”

Trailer added for upcoming live-action film “Destiny Kamakura Monogatari” starring Masato Sakai and Mitsuki Takahata. Movie is based on manga “Kamakura Monogatari” by Ryohei Saigan and directed by Takashi Yamazaki. Mega box-office hit “Always: Sunset on Third Street” and its two sequels are also based on an original manga by Ryohei Saigan and directed by Takashi Yamazaki.

“Destiny Kamakura Monogatari” will be released December 9, 2017 in Japan.

Yuki Sakurai and Issei Takahashi cast in movie “The Limit of Sleeping Beauty”

Yuki Sakurai is cast for the lead role in movie “The Limit of Sleeping Beauty.” Movie is written and directed by Ken NinomiyaIssei Takahashi is cast in a major supporting role. In the film, Yuki Sakurai will play Aki Oria. She came to Tokyo ten years ago to become an actress, but now works as an assistant to a magician. On stage, she pretends to be hypnotized. She has lost for passion for life. Her stage act leads to Aki Oria drifting between states of illusion and reality. Issei Takahashi will play Aki Oria’s boyfriend.

“The Limit of Sleeping Beauty” will be released October, 2017 in Japan.

English subtitled teaser trailer for movie “Midnight Runners”

English subtitled teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “Midnight Runners” starring Park Seo-Joon and Kang Ha-Neul. Meanwhile, here’s two new character posters of Park Seo-Joon and Kang Ha-Neul for the movie. The caption on Park Seo-Joon’s character poster states “Let’s catch them by ourselves!,” while the caption on Kang Ha-Neul’s states “Do as you were taught! It works!” The captions explain the differences between the two characters. Ki-Joon (Park Seo-Joon) is completely gung-ho and acts before thinking. Hee-Yeol (Kang Ha-Neul ) is cerebral and values principles.

“Midnight Runners” opens August, 2017 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer added for upcoming live-action film “Anonymous Noise” (literal title) starring Ayami Nakajo, Jun Shison and Yuta Koseki. The teaser trailer features ending theme song “Find You” by rock band Man with a Mission. The group consists of 5 members: Tokyo Tanaka, Jean-Ken Johnny, Kamikaze Boy, DJ Santa Monica and Spear Rib. Movie “Anonymous Noise” is based on manga series “Fukumenkei Noizu” by Ryoko Fukuyama.

“Anonymous Noise” opens November 25, 2017 in Japan.

2nd main trailer for movie “I Want to Eat Your Pancreas”

2nd main trailer added for upcoming movie “I Want to Eat Your Pancreas” (literal title) starring Shun Oguri, Keiko Kitagawa, Takumi Kitamura and Minami Hamabe. Movie is based on novel “Kimi no Suizo wo Tabetai” by Yoru Sumino and directed by Sho Tsukikawa. In addition a new poster for the film was also released. The theme song for the movie has also been announced which is “Himawari” by rock band Mr.Children.
