Ayaka Miyoshi is cast for the lead role in comedy film “Dance With Me.” The movie is written and directed by Shinobu Yaguchi (“Waterboys“/”Swing Girls“). The unusual story follows a young woman who is placed under hypnosis. Because of this, she sings and dances whenever she hears music (even a ringtone). She wants to break the hypnosis, but she can’t find the hypnotist. Filming for the movie will begin at the end of July, 2018 and finish September, 2018. Ayaka Miyoshi won the lead role after going through auditions with 500 other participants.
“Dance With Me” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Movie is based on novel “Chiri Tsubaki” by Rin Hamuro and directed by award winning cinematographer Daisaku Kimura. The new teaser poster also features Hidetoshi Nishijima,Haru Kuroki, Kumiko Aso and Sosuke Ikematsu. Caption on the teaser poster states in Japanese “Only, For Love.”

Story for “Louder!: Can’t Hear What You’re Singin’, Wimp” follows a very loud rock vocalist (Sadao Abe) with a secret and a street performer (Riho Yoshioka) with an unusually quiet voice.

Movie follows follows a young man (Nijiro Murakami) who fins a gun along a river bank. This leads to trouble for the young man.
“Gun” will be released November 17, 2018 in Japan.
Trailer and new poster added for upcoming live-action film “You, I Love” starring Hinako Sakurai, Sho Hirano and Tina Tamashiro. The theme song for the movie is “High On Love!” by Japanese idol group “King & Prince.” Sho Hirano who plays the lead male role in the film is a member of “King & Prince.” The theme song appears in the trailer.

Teaser trailer #2 added for upcoming movie “The House Where The Mermaid Sleeps” starring Ryoko Shinohara and Hidetoshi Nishijima. Movie is based on 2015 novel “Ningyo no Nemuru Ie” by Keigo Higashino and directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi. The movie brings up moral questions on when parents should give up on children deemed brain dead by doctors. Teaser trailer #2 begins with Ryoko Shinohara’s voice stating in Japanese “This child is alive.”
“The House Where The Mermaid Sleeps” will be released November 16, 2018 in Japan.
Shinichi Tsutsumi, Yuya Yagira and Rina Kawaei are cast in movie “Nakuna Akaoni.” The film is based on short story “Nakuna Akaoni” by Kiyoshi Shigematsu and directed by Atsushi Kaneshige. In the film, Shinichi Tsutsumi will play former high school baseball coach Takashi Obuchi. He learns a former student (played by Yuya Yagira) has terminal cancer and only 6 months to live. Filming for “Nakuna Akaoni” will begin early next month in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture.
“Nakuna Akaoni” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Movie is based on manga “Gangoose” by Daisuke Suzuki and directed by Yu Irie. Story for the film will follow three young men who commit crimes to survive, but their targets are criminals.

Masaharu Fukuyama and Yuriko Ishida are cast in movie “Machine no Owari ni.” The film is based on novel “Machine no Owari ni” by Keiichiro Hirano and directed by Hiroshi Nishitani (“Suspect X“/”Galileo“). Filming begins September, 2018 and finishes at the end of November, 2018. Shooing will take place in Japan, Paris and New York. In the film, Masaharu Fukuyama will play classical guitarist Satoshi Makino and Yuriko Ishida will play journalist Yoko Komine.
“Machine no Owari ni” will be released sometime during autumn, 2019 in Japan.
