Masataka Kubota, Hirofumi Arai, Keiko Enoue (‘comedy duo ‘Nicche’) and Miwako Kakei are all cast in movie “Kenen.” The film will revolve around a pair of brothers and a pair of sisters. The younger brother (Masataka Kubota) works at a printing company and has a good head on his shoulders. His older brother (Hirofumi Arai) can get violent and has been in prison. Meanwhile, the older sister (Keiko Enoue) runs her family’s printing business. Her younger sister (Miwako Kakei) isn’t smart like her older sister, but she is pretty and popular due to her outgoing personality. Movie is written and directed by Keisuke Yoshida.
“Kenen” will be released February, 2018 in Japan.
In the upcoming film, Kyoko Yoshine will play talented actress, but unattractive Kasane Fuchi. Tao Tsuchiya will play untalented actress, but beautiful Nina Tanzawa. The unattractice Kasane Fuchi has a lipstick that possesses magical like powers. Whenever Kasane Fuchi applies the lipstick and kisses someone she can possess that person’s face.
Filming for “Kasane” begins August 4, 2017 and finishes mid-September, 2017.
Teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “Demekin” starring Kentaro and Yuki Yamada. Movie is based on an autobiographical novel by Masaki Sata and directed by Yoshitaka Yamaguchi. The film follows the tough upbringing of Masaki Sata (Kentaro) and his eventual formation of a motorcycle gang with his buddy Atsunari (Yuki Yamada).
“Demekin” will be released sometime during this winter in Japan.

Trailer added for movie “Tales of Chigasaki: My Little Hometown” starring Ryunosuke Kamiki and Shuhei Nomura. The film is directed by Izuru Kumasaka (“Asyl: Park and Love Hotel“) and is part documentary and part live-action dramatization. Story for the film examines the city of Chigasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture and examines why the city produces so many entertainers.
“Tales of Chigasaki: My Little Hometown” will be released September 16, 2017 in Japan.
Takanori Iwata (‘J Soul Brothers’ and ‘EXILE’) is cast for the lead role in movie “Kyonen no Fuyu, Kimi to Wakare.” Also cast in the film are Mizuki Yamamoto, Kazuki Kitamura, Takumi Saito and Reina Asami. Movie is based on 2013 novel “Kyonen no Fuyu, Kimi to Wakare” by Fuminori Nakamura and will be directed by Tomoyuki Takimoto.
In the upcoming film, Takanori Iwata will play reportage writer Kyosuke Yakumo. For his next book, he examines a burned to death murder case involving a beautiful blind woman. The suspect in the case is a talented photographer played by Takumi Saito. Mizuki Yamamoto will play the fiance of Kyosuke Yakumo, Reina Asami will play the older sister of the photographer and Kazuki Kitamura will play the editor of a weekly magazine.
Filming for “Kyonen no Fuyu, Kimi to Wakare” began July 2, 2017 and finishes mid-August, 2017. Movie will be released sometime during spring, 2018 in Japan.
Toma Ikuta & Eita are cast in movie “Yuuzai.” The film is based on 2013 novel “Yuuzai” by Gaku Yakumaru and directed by Takahisa Zeze. In the film, Toma Ikuta plays Masuda and Eita will play Suzuki. Masuda begins working at a factory where Suzuki works. They develop a friendship, but Masuda begins to suspect that Suzuki is the serial killer responsible for killing children 17 years ago.
“Yuuzai” will be released May, 2018 in Japan.
