Hiroshi Abe, Kirin Kiki & Yoko Maki are all cast in movie “Umi Yorimo Mada Fukaku.” The movie is written and directed by Hirokazu Koreeda (“Like Father, Like Son”). Story for the film revolves around Ryota (played by Hiroshi Abe) and his family of ex-wife (Kyoko), mother (Kirin Kiki) and 11-year-old son (Taiyo Yoshizawa). They all gather at the apartment of Ryota’s mother when a typhoon passes and they all must spend the night there.

Kaho Mizutani is cast in horror film “Valentine Nightmare.” The movie is based on a horror game developed by Ivory Dice and directed by Yasumasa Konno. Premise for the film has high school students on a graduation trip. They become haunted by the spirit of a classmate who committed suicide on Valentine’s Day, one year ago. The students must overcome their fears and find out the truth about what happened one year ago.
“Valentine Nightmare” will be released sometime January, 2016 in Japan.
Trailer added for upcoming live-action horror film “Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw” starring Rio Uchida & Mari Yamachi. Movie is based on manga series”Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw” by Rei Mikamoto. The main character has a chainsaw and there’s zombies in the film.

Actress Kasumi Arimura is cast in movie “Natsumi’s Firefly” directed by Ryuichi Hiroki (“Vibrator“). Movie is based on 2010 novel”Natsumi no Hotaru” by Akio Morisawa (“Tsugaru“). Also cast in the film are Asuka Kudo, Kaoru Kobayashi, Ken Mitsuishi, Kazuko Yoshiyuki.
“Natsumi’s Firefly” will be released sometime next spring in Japan.

Movie is a remake of 2014 South Korean film “Miss Granny” which starred Shim Eun-Kyung & Na Moon-Hee in the respective roles of teenage granny and granny. “Ayashii Kanojo” is directed by Nobuo Mizuta (“Maiko haaaan!!!“/”The Apology King“).

First teaser trailer added for upcoming live-action comedy film “Chinyuki” starring Kenichi Matsuyama. “Chinyuki” is based on manga series “Chinyuki – Taro to Yukaina Nakama tachi” by Gataro Man which is setup as a parody of well known 16th century Chinese novel “Journey to the West.”

Hiroki Narimiya is cast in upcoming live-action film “Assassination Classroom: Graduation” starring Ryosuke Yamada, Masaki Suda and Maika Yamamoto. Drama series is based on manga series “Ansatsu Kyoshitsu” by Yusei Matsui and is a sequel to 2015 film “Assassination Classroom.”
In live-action film “Assassination Classroom: Graduation,” Hiroki Narimiya will play scientist Kotaro Yanagisawa. He’s responsible for changing a lonely contract killer (Kazunari Ninomiya), aka “Grim Reaper,” into Koro Sensei (“unkillable teacher”). Hiroki Narimiya will appear in flashback scenes with the contract killer “grim reaper” (Kazunari Ninomiya) and Aguri Yukimura (Mirei Kiritani). Aguri Yukimura is the former home room teacher of 3rd grade E class.

Kankuro Nakamura, Tori Matsuzaka & Yuko Oshima (ex-AKB48 member) are all cast in new movie “Sanada Ten Braves.” The movie is based on the 2014 stage play “Sanada Juyushi” which Kankuro Nakamura & Tori Matsuzaka performed in. Director Yukihiko Tsutsumi and screenwriter Nozomi Makino also took part in the stage play and will perform same duties in the movie “Sanada Ten Braves.” Story for the film is set at the end of the Sengoku period and follows 10 ninja members who all serve under samurai Yukimura Sanada (real historical figure).
