Teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “Full of Lies” (literal title of “Usohappyaku”) starring Kiichi Nakai and Kuranosuke Sasaki. Movie is directed by Masaharu Take (“100 Yen Love“). Story for “Full of Lies” follows an antique dealer (Kiichi Nakai) and potter (Kuranosuke Sasaki) who come across an original tea piece by Sen no Rikyu.

Trailer added for upcoming movie “Dadadada Seventeen” starring Rigaku Suzuki and Yuho Kitazawa from rock group “the peggies.” The film is written and directed by actress Hana Matsumoto. Story for “Dadadada Seventeen” follows 34-year-old high school student Nobuo (Rigaku Suzuki) and high school student Rikako (Yuho Kitazawa). The two set out to find Rikako’s father.

Singer-songwriter Nodoka Kirishima and actor Ryo Kitamura are cast for the lead roles in new live-action film “Tsumasaki no Uchu.” The film is based on manga “Tsumasaki no Uchu” by Manni, which is published through free manga app Comico. Also cast in supporting roles are Mami Kamura and Reina Visa. Premise for the film will follow a young woman who is unable to speak words due to a past incident. She begins working at a karaoke place to break out of her shell.
Movie will be released sometime next year in Japan.
Takayuki Yamada and Takeru Satoh are cast for lead roles in live-action film “Hard Core.” In addition, YosiYosi Arakawa is cast in a supporting role. The movie is based on manga series “Hado Koa Heisei Jigoku Burazazu” by Takashi Imashiro and directed by Nobuhiro Yamashita. Takayuki Yamada and Takeru Satoh will play brothers in the film. Takayuki Yamada’s character works as a gold miner with his only friend played by YosiYosi Arakawa, while Takeru Satoh’s character works for a trading a company. They discover an old robot.
Filming for “Hard Core” takes place from August to September, 2017 in the suburbs of Tokyo.
Hiroto Kanai, Chizuru Ikewaki & Masanobu Ando are cast in movie “Kirakira Megane.” The screenplay is based on 2015 novel “Kirakira Megane” by Akio Morisawa and directed by Kazutoshi Inudo. Story for “Kirakira Megane” follows a man (Hiroto Kana) that grieves over his deceased cat and decides to buy a used book. He finds a business card for a woman (Chizuru Ikewaki) inside the book. The man contacts the woman and they meet. Filming for the movie begins at the end of September, 2017 in Chiba Prefecture.
“Kirakira Megane” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Story for the film has three brothers meeting for the first time in 30 years after their father’s death. The oldest brother (Nao Omori) disappeared in high school. The middle brother (Kosuke Suzuki) is married and works as a city council member. The youngest brother (Kenta Kiritani) manages a call girl service.

Kanata Hongo is cast in upcoming movie “Hyouka: Forbidden Secrets” starring Kento Yamazaki and Alice Hirose. For the movie, Kanata Hongo will play Jun Sekiya. His character is an important figure and holds a key which solves a mystery in the film. “Hyouka: Forbidden Secrets” is based on 2001 novel “Hyouka” by Honobu Yonezawa and directed by Mari Asato.
